The IVCA has set up a Special Interest Group for Legal Affairs (IVCA SIG) to create model transaction documents for the benefit of the industry, which take into account diverse investment styles and strategies.

As a first step, the IVCA SIG has prepared drafts of model term sheets for different investment instruments. The IVCA SIG has attempted to present these documents in a simplified manner. The draft model term sheets package comprises of:
These model documents were launched at the IVCA Conclave on July 15, 2013. The draft model documents will be open for public comments till 15 November 2013.
